We’re more than just a dental team—we’re two friends with a shared passion for creating healthy smiles in an environment that feels like home. Our journey began in residency, where a friendship quickly grew into a vision: to build a practice that combines expert care and experience with genuine warmth and comfort. Together, we’ve created a little garden where patients are treated like family, and your little sprout’s visit is personal. We balance professionalism with a light-hearted “mom” approach, and our teamwork means you’ll always feel supported and cared for—from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave smiling. Your dental needs - big or small, we’re here for you—two friends, one mission: to make your dental experience exceptional and your Little Sprout’s smile truly bloom.
Dr. Baxi’s approach to pediatric dentistry begins with making every child comfortable at the dentist’s office. She believes that creating a fun and safe environment is essential to an easy and successful appointment. She values the opportunity to work with parents to tailor the treatment to suit the needs of their children. Like her dear friend Dr. Khan, Dr. Baxi strives to practice as conservatively as possible, prioritizing disease prevention, education, and the well-being of every child above all.
Dr. Baxi hails from Massachusetts. She started her training at a 7-year program at New York University. After graduating Magna cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2013, she moved to Seattle to complete her General Practice Residency at Swedish Medical Center. While working as a general dentist in Massachusetts, she discovered her love for pediatric dentistry and enrolled at St. Barnabas Hospital to specialize. Her friendship with Dr. Khan started and blossomed during her tenure here. She graduated in 2018 after serving as chief resident in her final year. Since then, Dr. Baxi has spent time working at multi-specialty and boutique practices, providing dental care to children from many different communities in the New York and New Jersey area. All the while, Dr. Khan and Dr. Baxi have relied on one another for matters both professional and personal.
Dr. Baxi is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Baxi is fluent in Hindi and Marathi and is comfortable speaking dental Spanish. When she’s not chasing sugar bugs away, Dr. Baxi enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.
Even before becoming a dentist, Dr Khan knew she always wanted a career centered around children - to make use of her warm and bubbly personality that naturally connected with younger hearts. As a result, her approach to pediatric dentistry lies in connecting with and gaining trust of every child. Like her friend, Dr Baxi, Dr Khan’s goal is to practice conservatively with an emphasis on dental education, prevention and empowerment for good oral health. Dr Khan was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and pursued her undergraduate and Masters degree in Nutrition at Case Western Reserve University. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at University of Maryland followed by a pediatric dental fellowship at the prestigious Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Her final round of training was a two year speciality training in pediatrics at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where she met her friend and forever partner-in-pediatric care, Dr Baxi! Since then, Dr Khan has practiced all over from Chicago to Connecticut to Brooklyn!
Dr Khan’s unique skill set stems from her speciality training from the most rigorous programs, but also over the years of working in premier, boutique offices. After what feels like moving non-stop, she has finally chosen New Jersey as home and is excited to bring her expertise to the Glen Ridge community not only as a professional, but also as a mother! She is ready to start this chapter with Dr Baxi as we combine our superpowers of being friends, dentists and mothers - as they say, two heads are better than one!
Dr Khan is a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi, and outside of the office you’ll find her spending time with her husband, silly toddler and extended family. She also loves a good cup of coffee, trips to NYC, her Peloton, and an intense thriller - whether it’s on Netflix or in a book.
